One day only, starting Wednesday, August 15, 2007 between 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second on Wednesday, August 15, 2007) and ending that same day at 23:59:59 PT(11:59 PM plus 59 seconds).


NOTE: Usually on these days the eBay system gets annihilated with the volume. It's 11:40pm the day before and we're already seeing intermittent load related errors. On previous free listing days eBay launches get very slow, so we generally turn off all non-core eBay services except launching and bringing additional spare servers online to really "pound them" and get up as many listings as possible.

However we always advise customers - please do not put up listings at 11pm at night and assume they'll be up before midnight. We'll post updates in recent news as they are available. We'll also be giving priority to the tickets that have the words "EBAY" in the title, and staffing additional hours late into the evening tomorrow in an effort to help this go smoothly.

If you have no intention of taking advantage of eBay's offer - we apologize if support takes a little longer to respond than normal, we don't get warned about these events in advance and so there is really no way to prepare for them.
